As ACD you’ll play a vital role supporting the Cruise Director on board; line-managing the entertainment team, interacting with passengers and liaising with senior management on the ship and shore side.

Often the most high-profile face on a cruise ship, the Cruise Director is responsible for overseeing all on board events and entertainment. This challenging and unique role calls for a charismatic manager, who can command the respect of passengers, staff and crew alike, as well as charm an audience on stage every night.

In collaboration with other ship departments and with Peel HQ, the Cruise Director’s duty is to ensure that every passengers is thoroughly entertained and has the holiday of a lifetime. Supported by an Assistant Cruise Director and/or Entertainment Manager, this role combines the delivery and management of the Peel product on board, with a highly visible, public profile. Ideally suited to someone from an entertainment background, Cruise Directors may also have the opportunity to perform on stage, whether presenting, singing or even joining the show team for an occasional cameo role.

The role of Entertainment Host is an extremely popular position on any cruise ship or in any hotel, as it allows the all-round entertainer to practice and develop every aspect of your skills and experience.

One of the most integral members of our creative team, Peel vocal coaches need to combine technical expertise and experience with that special ability to encourage and inspire young singers to perform to their best.

Working closely with our creative team, you’ll train and rehearse our singers, both as individuals and in casts, in solo and chorus work. Cruise entertainment programmes are particularly demanding, so if you can nurture the skills and instil the confidence our singers need, to deliver exceptional performances, night after night, we’d love to hear from you.
